APRIL DIVINE To Record New Single, Full-Length Album
March 11, 2008Swedish alternative rock outfit APRIL DIVINE is set to record a new single with Swedish Grammis award-winning producer Tobias Lindell (MUSTASCH, HEED, PETTER, BRITNEY SPEARS etc.) in Gothenburg, Sweden and a brand new album in Atlanta, Georgia with American producer Rick Beato (BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, SHINEDOWN, SEVENDUST, VINCE NEIL, I NINE, SUBMERSED).
APRIL DIVINE will enter Studio Bohus, located in the Gothenburg area, to record a new single with Lindell, who is best known for his stunning work with Swedish Grammis award winners MUSTASCH. The single is set to be released sometime in May/June 2008.
Drummer Per Karlsson states: "We wanted this new single to sound big and epic, and considering the sound and production of the latest MUSTASCH album, Tobias feels like the perfect choice to bring out the right elements of the song."
In April the band will travel to the U.S. to record its new album with renowned American producer Rick Beato. In a hectic four weeks, they will record the CD and also play their first-ever gigs on American soil.
Karlsson states: "We've been working hard on new songs for the new album since mid 2007, and also negotiating with various American producers who has shown interest, we decided to go with Rick due to his track record and the simple fact that he really dig APRIL DIVINE. We wanted to go to the U.S. for the next album, just to get our of Sweden and mainly focusing on recording a killer album."
APRIL DIVINE's debut album, "Chapter One", was released in January 2007 via Ninetone/Universal.
